Bedeviled By The Churn, Sprint Tries To Win Back Disgruntled Customers

If you're living in the US, there's a good chance you're using a phone on one of the four major carriers: Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint. I was told the phones were mailed out and they were mailed to my other house which no one is there. I still had nine months left to pay off the phones, and would be immediately charged for the phones if I didn't stay in the promo plan”……. Verizon also argued that it was rated the top wireless company for performance and speed by mobile testing company RootMetrics.

Customers already view wireless telecom as a utility; this would just be a race to the bottom that could only be be won” by the carrier with the lowest costs. Almitra and Robert Buzan found out that a technician at the Sprint store had accidentally assigned Almitra's number to another customer.

Peter Leppik is CEO of Vocal Laboratories, also known as Vocalabs, a Minnesota company that digs deep into what some companies do right, and wrong, when it comes to customer support calls. In the first quarter of 2008, 1.1 million of Sprint Nextel's 53.9 million customers fled, and such churn — a measure of how unhappy customers are — is on the rise.

In our own interactions with Sprint's customer service, we've had a positive experience overall. The first realized there was a problem was when Sprint threated to cut off phones. For $60 per month for a single line, Sprint offers an unlimited prepaid plan. The customer service was so bad that I am thinking about leaving Sprint altogether.

1 line has a broke phone which will be upgradeable in 7 months so rather than spend unnecessary money we would like to jus upgrade the phone by paying it off and sprint give us the credits due so we can move on to a new phn undrr a new lease agreement which to me would be the best moving Sprint forward and financially sound so im not wasting resources.

The woman at Sprint customer service” responded by yelling Sir, we are not a travel agent”, and then hung up on me. So today I called Sprint customer service, the number printed on the back of the phone card. I was told I had to take up upon myself to call the insurance company and see if they would add my insurance and back date to the date my services was cancelled.

Was told go to store to change my phones over. T-Mobile became the most aggressive competitor because the failure of previous merger plans left it no choice. When I called the customer service line, I was given too many contradicting reasons as to why I was being charged international calling on a internet app.

I'd been "ported out," he told me — phone company lingo for what happens when you terminate your account to go to another carrier. Calls had to be serviced within a very strict time schedule. Free phone service, cheaper phones. When traveling abroad, you'll find fees easy to manage thanks to Sprint Global Roaming- a feature included on all new postpaid plans.

The major areas it lags behind are in network speed and data performance (in these categories, it falls to fourth behind T-Mobile). Sprint isn't selling phones with the expectation that customers want to use them on T-Mobile. I was offered a plan of 90 for 4 phone permanently to stay with Sprint.

On Tuesday 2 October 2018 I called Sprint to determine if they had a new rate plan as we were at the end of our lease with 4 lines and wanted to see what options were available. This company shouldn't even have any stars given to them as they are the absolute worst robbing company to their customers.

Customer service: Sprint has some major work to do on its overall customer service scores, but our own interactions with it were fine. The only caveat here is that Sprint should refund the cost of the phone since these customers cannot use them with another carrier.
